Erection of a tram depot hall, dimensions 150.00 m * 27.50 m
Following a special proposal by the joint venture, the structural works were implemented using prefabricated reinforced concrete parts with columns with preformed bases, ice walls, external wall slabs and special attic slabs.
The external walls were faced with clinker burned specially for that purpose. The roof frame from steel trelliswork was designed as a saw-tooth roof construction. The hall’s saw-tooth roofs, 9 in total, enhance the architectural value of the hall. The saw-tooth roofs are faced with ISO roof panels. The roofs are drained with a vacuum drainage system.
The construction services are completed by extensive civil engineering works for the foundations of the depot hall, drainage systems for dirt and rain water with concrete pipes up to DN 800, laying of potable water lines, a rain water cistern with a capacity of 90.00 m³ and a total of approx. 9,000 m of conduit cable runs including cable ducts.
